Common cooker problems include failure to heat up, burners or rings not igniting, uneven cooking temperatures, and broken oven lights or door seals.

To fix a non-working stove burner, determine if your stove is electric or gas. For electric coil burners, check and re-seat the coil or replace a burnt-out element or terminal block.

When your stove stops working, first check the basic power or gas supply. For electric stoves, make sure it is plugged in and check your home circuit breaker. 

A stove burner may fail due to a burned-out heating coil, a faulty infinite control switch, a loose or damaged terminal receptacle block, clogged gas ports, or a wet and dirty electronic igniter.

If your stove is not working, it is usually caused by a blocked gas port, a misaligned burner cap, a wet electric igniter, or a tripped circuit breaker.
